Gerard is a dedicated and experienced GP who completed a degree in Chemistry in Trinity College before embarking on a degree in Medicine in UCD, qualifying in 2015.

He obtained membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCPI) in 2018 and subsequently completed GP training through the Imperial Scheme, London in 2022.

Gerard has a wide breadth of clinical experience in community and hospital settings across Ireland, the UK and Australia.

He has a strong interest in medical education, with formal teaching training and active involvement in mentoring and supervising trainees.

He moved back to Ireland from the UK in 2025 and we are delighted to welcome him to the Oakwood team.
