GP Registrar
Dr. Meena Kumari is a GP Registrar on the ICGP/HSE UCD Specialist Training Scheme in General Practice. We are delighted to have her as a clinical member of the Oakwood Medical team through July 2027.
Dr. Kumari completed her undergraduate medical degree (MBBS) in India, earning academic scholarships throughout her entire educational career. Demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical research and academic excellence, she went on to complete a joint Master of Science (MSc) degree between the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and Trinity College Dublin.
Following her move to Ireland, Dr. Kumari completed her Membership of the Royal College of Physician in Ireland (MRCPI) and Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP) alongside several post-graduate qualifications, including the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG) and a Diploma in Paediatrics RCPI. She is also a certified cervical smear taker and holds an ICGP Certificate in Contraception.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Kumari is married and the proud parent of two young children.
