GP Registrar
Julie is a GP Specialist Registrar currently training on the North Dublin City GP Training Scheme. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Cape Town in South Africa in 2017. She completed a two-year medical internship in Cape Town followed by a year working in a rural hospital in Mpumalanga province.
She moved to Ireland in 2021 and worked in University Hospital Limerick Emergency Department for 15 months before moving to Dublin to complete basic specialist training in General Medicine. She became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI) in 2023.
During her years of work and formal training she has gained a broad base of experience in Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Paediatrics and Psychiatry.
Julie lives in Dublin with her husband and son.
