Dr. Frank O’Leary

Having graduated from UCD in 2007, Frank completed the Trinity College General Practice Training Scheme in 2012. He has worked as a locum in various practices in different counties including Dublin, Donegal and Mayo. Having developed a particular interest in dermatology, Frank has also completed a Diploma in Practical Dermatology with Cardiff University. Until recently he continued to pursue his interest in this field by working in a dermatology clinic in St. James’ Hospital one half day per week.
Frank is also a committee member of Primary Care Surgical Association (PCSA). After obtaining a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Injury and Management in 2012 Franks has acted as pitchside medic to various soccer and rugby teams including UCD AFC, Old Wesley RFC and Old Belvedere RFC. He is a member of the Faculty of Sports and Exercises Medicine in Royal College of Surgeons. Frank is actively involved in undergraduate and Post Graduate teaching and to that end, is Clinical Tutor for the TCD Specialist Training Programme in General Practice and tutor to 1st year medical students in Trinity college. He has completed his Masters in Clinical Education in 2016 with Queen’s University Belfast.
Frank is originally from Dublin and has a very keen interest in all things rugby. Frank is married and has one daughter.
