Dr Triona Hussey
Triona is originally from Kerry and graduated from University College Dublin (UCD) in 2014. She completed her intern year in St. James’ Hospital, working in General Surgery, Breast Surgery, Rheumatology and Medicine for the Elderly. Following this year, she travelled to Perth in Australia to work and took the opportunity to travel for two months thereafter.
Triona joined the HSE Dublin Mid Leinster GP Training Scheme in 2016 and worked in a variety of specialities including Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, Psychiatry, Medicine for the Elderly and Paediatrics. Her GP training was completed in GP practices in Sallynoggin and Skerries.
During her GP training, she completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG), Diploma in Musculoskeletal Examination and Injury Management (ICGP/FSEM), and Clinical Dermatology Level 4 Masters (UCD), as she has a keen interest in these areas.
